Natural Stove 20h Cast-Iron Fireplace-Style Wood & Coal Stove

Brand: Petra Şömine

/ Standard

Natural 20h is a small wood and coal stove with a cast-iron body and a fireplace look. Curved legs, a fluted door frame and small ceramic side windows beside the front glass give it classic cast-iron fireplace styling. The manufacturer states 4–6 kW nominal output and a 40–50 m² heating area. Who it is for: small living rooms, summer houses and village rooms; anyone used to heating with wood and coal rather than pellets who wants a long-lived, low-maintenance stove. Technical values: size 45 × 75 × 55 cm, weight 87 kg, material cast iron, energy class A+ (Eco), 3 ceramic glass panes. The cast body stores heat and keeps radiating for a while after the fire dies down. Installation: as a wood/coal stove it requires a properly drawing chimney built to standard; no electricity is needed. Transport and floor strength should be considered beforehand for the 87 kg cast body. Fuel: dry wood and coal.

What to look for when choosing a stove

Fuel type

Cast-iron stoves that burn wood and coal are fed by hand; pellet stoves feed themselves from a hopper. Choose a model that burns the fuel you can easily get locally.

Room size and insulation

How much space a stove can heat depends on the insulation, ceiling height and number of windows. Send us the size of the room and its insulation before you buy.

Flue connection

A stove must be connected to a sound flue that draws well. Pipe diameter, the number of bends and a clean chimney directly affect both efficiency and safety.

Cooking

If you also want to cook and bake on the stove, choose a cooker (kuzine) model with an oven; for heating only, a classic cast-iron stove is enough.

Use and upkeep

Hand-fed stoves need the ash emptied regularly; pellet stoves need a power supply and a filled hopper. Pick the one that suits your daily routine.

Safe use

Have the chimney swept before every heating season.
Fit a carbon monoxide detector in any home with a stove or fireplace.
Keep flammable items away from the stove and keep children away from hot surfaces.
Never burn plastic, painted wood or rubbish; use only the fuel suited to the appliance.
