Petra Classic Davul Rocket-Type Glass Decorative Pellet Stove

Brand: Petra Şömine

/ Standard

Davul is a decorative pellet stove with a cylindrical body that Petra Classic calls "rocket type". Manufacturer photos show a black square base at the bottom, a cylindrical glass section in the middle where the flame is visible all round, and a reflector cap on top; all shots are in terrace and garden settings. Who it is for: café and restaurant terraces, hotel gardens, evening gatherings on home terraces; anyone wanting a visual focal point as much as a heater. We have asked the maker for a sheet; clarifying before ordering is advised. Use note: a manual pellet stove, no electricity needed. Although the outdoor photos suggest the intended location, the manufacturer does not state it in text; if used indoors it must be connected to a chimney, because burning pellets produces smoke. Protect the glass cylinder from knocks and water while hot. Fuel: pellets.

What to look for when choosing a stove

Fuel type

Cast-iron stoves that burn wood and coal are fed by hand; pellet stoves feed themselves from a hopper. Choose a model that burns the fuel you can easily get locally.

Room size and insulation

How much space a stove can heat depends on the insulation, ceiling height and number of windows. Send us the size of the room and its insulation before you buy.

Flue connection

A stove must be connected to a sound flue that draws well. Pipe diameter, the number of bends and a clean chimney directly affect both efficiency and safety.

Cooking

If you also want to cook and bake on the stove, choose a cooker (kuzine) model with an oven; for heating only, a classic cast-iron stove is enough.

Use and upkeep

Hand-fed stoves need the ash emptied regularly; pellet stoves need a power supply and a filled hopper. Pick the one that suits your daily routine.

Safe use

Have the chimney swept before every heating season.
Fit a carbon monoxide detector in any home with a stove or fireplace.
Keep flammable items away from the stove and keep children away from hot surfaces.
Never burn plastic, painted wood or rubbish; use only the fuel suited to the appliance.
