Our domestic coal is TKİ Soma Kısrakdere +18, rated 4,800 - 5,200 kcal/kg net calorific value. Ash runs the other way: 12-18% for the domestic coal against 18-28% for the imported one. The imported coal gives more heat but needs clearing more often.
