Petra Classic Sandık Rocket-Type Glass Decorative Pellet Stove

Brand: Petra Şömine

/ Standard

Sandık is the square-bodied member of Petra Classic's rocket-type decorative pellet stoves. Manufacturer images show a laser-cut patterned square base, a vertical section glazed on four sides above it, and a reflector cap on top; all photos show terrace, garden and poolside use. Who it is for: outdoor seating areas, café and restaurant terraces, wedding and event venues; businesses wanting decorative fire. Neither heat output nor dimensions, weight, hopper, consumption or glass type have been published. Use note: the burn pot is loaded and ignited manually; no electricity needed. Smoke is emitted outdoors too; indoor use is possible only with a proper flue connection. In windy locations, anchoring against tipping and distance from combustible surfaces are required. Fuel: pellets.

What to look for when choosing a stove

Fuel type

Cast-iron stoves that burn wood and coal are fed by hand; pellet stoves feed themselves from a hopper. Choose a model that burns the fuel you can easily get locally.

Room size and insulation

How much space a stove can heat depends on the insulation, ceiling height and number of windows. Send us the size of the room and its insulation before you buy.

Flue connection

A stove must be connected to a sound flue that draws well. Pipe diameter, the number of bends and a clean chimney directly affect both efficiency and safety.

Cooking

If you also want to cook and bake on the stove, choose a cooker (kuzine) model with an oven; for heating only, a classic cast-iron stove is enough.

Use and upkeep

Hand-fed stoves need the ash emptied regularly; pellet stoves need a power supply and a filled hopper. Pick the one that suits your daily routine.

Safe use

Have the chimney swept before every heating season.
Fit a carbon monoxide detector in any home with a stove or fireplace.
Keep flammable items away from the stove and keep children away from hot surfaces.
Never burn plastic, painted wood or rubbish; use only the fuel suited to the appliance.
