Flame Plus Fan 12 kW Three-Glass Manual Pellet & Wood Stove with Fan

Brand: Petra Şömine

/ Standard

Flame Plus Fan is the three-glass version of the Flame body: two side windows beside the tall front glass turn the 114 cm body into something close to a vertical fireplace. The technical basis is identical to the Flame Fan. Who it is for: large, open-plan living rooms; anyone who prefers to place the stove in a visible spot rather than against a wall and watch the fire from every angle. Sheet values: 6–12 kW, 1.4–2.8 kg/h consumption, 38 L / 26 kg tank, 80.5% maximum efficiency, A+ class, 130 mm flue, 150–220 °C flue gas temperature, fan 220 V / 80 W. Body 43 × 57 × 114 cm, 75 kg. Firebox 30 × 30 × 70 cm, so if split wood is used its length should be chosen accordingly. Flue and installation: a 130 mm chimney with measured draught is mandatory. A socket is needed for the fan; the stove itself runs without one. The side windows are ceramic, must not be cleaned hot and should be protected from knocks. Fuel: pellets, wood, briquettes; the manufacturer recommends 6 mm A1-grade pine pellets. Packed weight is 95 kg; allow for two people at delivery and the 57 cm depth when checking door widths. The recommended minimum floor plate is 53 × 70 cm.

What to look for when choosing a stove

Fuel type

Cast-iron stoves that burn wood and coal are fed by hand; pellet stoves feed themselves from a hopper. Choose a model that burns the fuel you can easily get locally.

Room size and insulation

How much space a stove can heat depends on the insulation, ceiling height and number of windows. Send us the size of the room and its insulation before you buy.

Flue connection

A stove must be connected to a sound flue that draws well. Pipe diameter, the number of bends and a clean chimney directly affect both efficiency and safety.

Cooking

If you also want to cook and bake on the stove, choose a cooker (kuzine) model with an oven; for heating only, a classic cast-iron stove is enough.

Use and upkeep

Hand-fed stoves need the ash emptied regularly; pellet stoves need a power supply and a filled hopper. Pick the one that suits your daily routine.

Safe use

Have the chimney swept before every heating season.
Fit a carbon monoxide detector in any home with a stove or fireplace.
Keep flammable items away from the stove and keep children away from hot surfaces.
Never burn plastic, painted wood or rubbish; use only the fuel suited to the appliance.
